Riot Fest Announces 2017 Lineup: Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Jawbreaker

Riot Fest is back and holy shit they’ve got a great lineup. The Chicago edition will feature headliners Nine Inch Nails (Friday), Queens of the Stone Age (Saturday), Jawbreaker (Sunday). And if you are wondering who Jawbreaker is, we can help. The three piece from New York were considered leaders in the emo punk movement of the late 80’s and early 90’s, They made it a decade before breaking up and are highly sited by bands like Fall Out Boy, Bayside and Face to Face. This will be their first time on stage in over 20 years.

Thursday, April 20 will bring the announcement of which artist will perform full album shows.

As Consequence of Sound notes, “the inclusion of Bad Brains, which marks the band’s first announced performance since it was revealed that frontman HR needed brain surgery.”
