Prog rock band Goblin have announced their North American fall tour dates. But who is Goblin? The Italians are well known for their scoring of horror films, some of which include Dawn of the Dead, Suspiri, and Suspiri Rosso (Deep Red).
Coming along for the run will be Morricone Youth and Mondo Drag to thoroughly work the crowd into a frenzy. Show commence on October 25 in Chicago at Thalia Hall and wrap up on November 12 in New York at Irving Plaza.
In a press release, Goblin stated: “Our first experience in North America a few years ago was outstanding. The audience response went way beyond our expectations and the band had a wonderful time exploring the diversity & vastness of the U.S. and Canada. We feel that it’s time to return to our fans and share new emotions with them & for those who missed the first round. With the original rhythm section back in the line-up we’ll present parts of horror scores never performed live before as well as some of our new work.”
