Jack White’s New 7″ Only Available with Detroit Tigers’ Ticket

Jack White is making it complicated, but kind of cool, to get his new 7″ vinyl. The record features an interview with Kirk Gibson and White on the B-side, and the latter’s new song “Strike Out.” The release will be made available by White’s own Third Man Records.

How do fans get a copy of the new record? They will have to buy tickets to the Detroit Tigers vs Minnesota Vikings game on September 24. Proceeds go to the Kirk Gibson Foundation and the Tigers Foundation. The record will be pressed in Detroit Tigers’s colors, blue and orange.

As Detroit Metro Times points out, the other artist on the song are The Raconteurs‘ Brendan Benson, The Dirtbombs‘ Ben BlackwellOlivia Jean, and Dominic Davis. The song was  inspired by the schoolyard game “Strike Out,” which Benson’s father used to play.

Want to go to the game? Cick here.
