Bon Iver Cancels ‘Days Have No Numbers’ Destination Vacation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

On August 2, Bon Iver announced a brand new destination vacation at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Mexico from January 21-25, 2018. Only 2,500 tickets for Days Have No Numbers were available, thus all performances were ultra-intimate.

Bon Iver was set to headline with three full sets. Justin Vernon and company would have bee joined by Hiss Golden Messenger, Sylva EssoFrancis and the LightsPhil Cook (of Megafaun), PoliçaMelt-BananaSpank RockAero FlynnDizzy Fae, Velvet NegroniAmy WarehouseHrrrbek and special guests.

According to a press release:

“All guests stay on property, all shows take place just steps away, all-inclusive amenities are available 24 hours/day, and like-minded people with a common appreciation for music are all sharing the experience together, with the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop.”

Alas, none of this is going to happen. According to the Days Have No Numbers website (August 13): “The event has been cancelled and full refunds are being issued automatically to all registered guest. Refunds will appear in 5-7 business days. We are very sorry for the inconvenience”
