A large piece of the staging collapsed on top of Marilyn Manson while performing his hit cover of “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These)” at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom.
Around one hour into the show, the rock frontman began to climb onto a piece of staging that looks like two pistols. In the videos below, fans can see the prop fall down on him.
Reports have come in that his ankle was broken during the incident.
His crew rushed to his aid and shortly after EMT workers attended to him. A call for “Ice, Ice” could be heard coming from those attending to him.
Loudwire reports that Manson called his tour manager a “fascist” shortly after climbing back on to stage.
The kicker, forgive the phrasing, is that Manson broke his ankle on stage the night before in Pittsburgh.
