East Nashville Celebrates The Legacy of Tom Petty

On Wednesday night (October 4), several East Nashville musicians gathered at The Basement East to celebrate the life and songbook of Tom Petty. The iconic singer passed away on Monday night after being found in his Malibu home in cardiac arrest. His legacy is one that will likely remain unmatched.

vAn exceptionally sold out crowd (and we mean packed!) crammed into the Basement East to sing and cry and celebrate the life of one of the most talented songwriters of all time. The bands/singers included Andrew Leahey, Jon Latham, Elizabeth Cooke, Charlie Worsham, Daniel Ellsworth and the Great LakesJay Bragg, Wilder Embry, Southern Accents, and Quichenight.

The following videos only share a portion of the love that emanated from the room last night. We hope you enjoy.
