Foo Fighters announce 2018 Summer Tour

Foo Fighters  are planning to stay out on the road a bit longer than they originally announced. On Monday morning (October 23), the Foos added several months worth of dates. They are slated to kick off on January 20 in Perth, AU at Nib Stadium and wrap up on August 29 in Chicago, IL at Wrigley Field. They will also play two nights at Fenway Park in Boston, MA.

Over the weekend, they postponed three shows due to a family emergency. The announcement comes via their Twitter. Their Lexington, Kentucky show was postponed only hours before the event was scheduled to take place on Saturday. The Nashville and Memphis shows have also been postponed. Lexington will be moved to Sunday, May 1, 2018. Memphis has been moved to Tuesday, May 3, 2018. No word yet on Nashville.

Our theory is that Nashville show will be postponed indefinitely because of a Bonnaroo performance. It would be the Foos first time on the farm. And following today’s announcement, the dates are wide open for this to happen.

According to a press release:

“All tickets previously purchased will be honored for the new dates,” the band’s statement says. “If you are unable to attend, refunds are available at the point of purchase. Foo Fighters apologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing fans at the new dates.”

On September 15, Foo Fighters released their new album Concrete And Gold. Ahead of the release, fans were treated to (via live performance) “The Sky Is A Neighborhood,” “Run,” “Lah Dee Da,” “Sunday Rain,” “Dirty Water,” and “Arrows,” and “The Line.” And let’s just get real, this record is rock and roll perfection.

On Friday (October 20) the band released a previously unheard track for the  7-Inches For Planned Parenthood compilation called “Soldier

The Foo’s hit the road earlier this month for an extensive world tour. Recently, they announced a new set of dates in Australia with Weezer.
