Dave Grohl Plays Late night Host as David Letterman for “Kimmel” Show

What did you do for Halloween? Wait, never mind, Dave Grohl has the best Halloween story for 2017. Last night (October 31), the Foo Fighters frontman hosted an episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to allow Kimmel time with his six year old who is about to undergo his second brain surgery.

And how did he do it? As David Letterman, that’s how. Fully adorned in a perfect rendering of the former late night giant, Grohl proceeded to impress everyone who caught the episode. He even got Kristen Bell to perform a Metallica meets Frozen mash-up. And Alice Cooper was there as his main guest. Of course, he brought along the rest of the band. Did we mention that Cooper and the Foos joined forces to make a supergroup Alice Fooper? They capped the night with Grohl’s song “Ballad of Dwight Fry,” which ended with a beheading.

Sound like a great Halloween? Yeah, we thought we had a good time until we saw this. Check out some clips below.
