The Strumbellas Perform New Song “High” at Cannery Ballroom in Nashville

On Saturday night (November 4), a massive crowd gathered for The Strumbellas SOLD OUT show at Cannery Ballroom in Nashville. Think lines that lead down the street leading to other lines around the building. Regardless, their fans were their so enthusiastic and joyful that the energy in the room was nothing but warm bliss.

During the set, we got to witness a dance off during “The Long Road” between frontman Simon Ward and guitarist Jon Hembrey. It came after some light shit talking by Ward, and ended in the crowd cheering for a non-participating keyboardist Dave Ritter.

Shortly after, they performed a new song called “High.” We imagine that this will be the lead single on their next album.

Next cam an acoustic, a capella performance of “The Fire.” The video is a bit noisy at first, but the crowd comes around before the verse is over.

Finally, they closed the encore with “The Hired Band.” And the voices from the audience were loud!
