Nick Mulvey is one of those rare artist that words fall short when it comes to a description. His music pulls from the very soul of the earth and follows vibrational patterns that bring tingles to the skin and a warmth to the heart. On Monday night (November 13), Mulvey took the stage at the High Watt in Nashville, Tennessee and wowed every single person in the room. By the time the encore came, the audience was jumping up and down, grins spread wide. The music was tangible in all of the right ways.
Mulvey told the audience, “We cannot live without each other. We are not apart. All of these songs are about consciousness in one way or another. And on that level, we are never apart. Being in unconditional.”
During his set, Mulvey performed a nice mix of his older material and pieces of his latest release, Wake Up Now. He also covered Björk‘s “Bachelorette.” This comes following the video for “Unconditional,” which was directed by Björk collaborator Bastian Glaessner.
Currently he is on tour through November 19 in Seattle, Washington at Tractor Tavern.
