In April, Feist released the follow up to 2011’s Metals. The new EP is entitled Pleasure, and is exactly what her ever growing fan base was wanting. On Wednesday (December 6), she announced the release of her Pleasures: The Meals of an Album cookbook. It was a co-write with Adrienne Amato, the chef who created food during the recording sessions. All of the dishes are vegetarian, so the more the better.
It will feature 40 recipes over 122 pages, and will release on December 11. All sales proceeds will go to Community Food Centres Canada. It is a non-profit that aims to “build health, belonging and social justice in low-income communities across Canada through the power of food.”
Feist released the following:
“The making of an album is a communal process on many levels, and that extended to the community of the kitchen while we were recording. We hope this book will embolden you to expand your repertoire, stock up on simple staples and invite friends into your kitchen to cook some of these meals with them.”
