Hannibal Buress Arrested for “Disorderly Intoxication” in Miami

Hannibal Buress was arrested early in Miami, Florida over the weekend. Early on Sunday morning, the comic was charged with “disorderly intoxication” by the Miami police department.

The Miami Herald reports that Buress refused to comply with the police, even after being handcuffed. Video shows the comedian asking the two officers, “What am I being detained for?”

If you listen closely, you can hear one officer say, “trespassing.” Later, the same officer is heard saying, “disorderly intoxication.”

Buress is heard responding, “No, I’m not getting in your car unless you have probable cause for anything. … Take the handcuffs off of me, I didn’t do anything, I’m not getting in your car.”

One of the officers then shoves Buress into the back of the cruiser. Buress posted bail and was released around 6 a.m.
