Bruno Mars & Mark Ronson Sued Over “Uptown Funk!” Again

In the lawsuit that just keeps coming, Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars are once again facing a lawsuit over their usage of other people’s music on their best selling, and chart topping track, “Uptown Funk!”

The suit began three years ago, when the Gap Band noticed that their song, was being sampled. Soon after, funk pioneers Zapp and Collage also joined in on the action.

TMZ reports that yet another artist has a bone to pick with the duo. Sugar Hill Records‘ recording artist The Sequence point out the samples from their song “Funk You Up.” Dr. Dre also used bits and pieces in his song “Keep Their Heads Ringin’.”
