Diddy Changes Name Back to “Love” on ‘Kimmel’

Diddy, Puffy, and Puff Daddy, are all monikers of rap legend Sean Combs. Fans will recall that Combs added “Love” or “Brother Love” to this growing list in a post to Twitter on November 4, 2017. “I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers.”

Almost immediately, he recanted saying, “I was only joking. You can address me by any of my older names.” Well, forget that too. Last night (January 3), “Love” appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! saying that he “unretracted the retraction,” besides, “who doesn’t love Love?”

On Wednesday (May 10), Forbes released its annual list of wealthiest individuals. It revealed that Combs is still on top as the richest man in rap. His net worth? $820 million. This could come in handy if he gets his wish and purchases the Carolina Panthers football team.
