Rhythm N’ Blooms Festival Announces 2018 Initial Lineup: Dr. Dog, Paul Thorn’s Mission Temple Fireworks Revival (ft. The McCrary Sisters)

Rhythm N’ Blooms Festival has announced the 2018 initial lineup. The three day festival will feature headliners Dr. Dog, and Paul Thorn’s Mission Temple Fireworks Revival ft. The McCrary Sisters. The other headliners are forthcoming.

The diverse festival will be spread across seven stages in the downtown Knoxville, Tennessee area. Other acts of note include The Mowgli’s, The Lonely Biscuits, Lilly Hiatt, The War & Treaty, The Accidentals, Becca Mancari, Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, and a very special Midnight Merry-Go-Round: One Hit Wonders Edition hosted by Hudson K.

Secret shows, Musician’s Corner workshops, and Music History Tours will return for another year as well. The “secret shows” are a wonderful benchmark idea, where the venue and time slot are announced, but the artist is a secret until the performance begins. “We added secret shows to our schedule to allow fans to experience their favorite bands in a unique, intimate environment,” says Garrett Thomson, the festival’s project manager. “This year, we’ve expanded this concept and I’m most excited to see how people react to what we have planned.”

Rhythm N’ Blooms has a history of introducing our audiences to artists before they hit the big-time,” says Chyna Brackeen, co-founder of Rhythm N’ Blooms and president of Attack Monkey Productions,” acts like Chris Stapleton, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and Margo Price all played intimate sets at our festival before breaking into the mainstream.” She continues, “we pride ourselves on being the festival where you’ll discover your next favorite act. And our comfortable, intimate venues give you the opportunity to experience music up close, often side-by-side, with artists who played the main stage earlier in the weekend. All of this adds up to a festival like no other: friendly, laid back, and with music that will blow your mind.”

Three-day General Admission and VIP Tier One passes are sold out, but Tier Two three-day General Admission and VIP passes are still available for $60 and $190, respectfully. Single day passes will go on sale on March 1.
