Neil Young Will Star in New Western Film ‘Paradox’

Neil Young will play a starring role in the new western themed film Paradox. The Project is being helmed by Daryl Hannah, and will also star Willie Nelson, along with his two sons Micah and Lukas. The latter’s band (The Promise of the Real) will also play a role.

A press release describes the movie:

“Time is fluid in this far-fetched, whimsical western tale of music and love. Somewhere in the future past, The Man In the Black Hat hides out between heists at an old stagecoach stop with Jail Time, the Particle Kid, and an odd band of outlaws. Mining the detritus of past civilizations, they wait… for the Silver Eagle, for the womenfolk, and for the full moon’s magic to give rise to the music and make the spirits fly.”

Earlier today, Neil Young and the Promise of the Real released their brand new music video for “Almost Always.” The track originates on their 2017 release The Visitor, which has also produced the video for “Already Great.”

Late in 2017, Neil Young and Dram have shared a new song called “Campfire.” It will appear on the soundtrack for Will Smith’s new Netflix film Bright. It was recorded at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La Studios.
