The Temptations’ Frontman Dennis Edwards Dead at 74

The former frontman of The Temptations, Dennis Edwards, has passed away at age 74. No cause of death is known at this time.

The news comes via Rolling Stone. He led an amazing life, including fifty years of performing the hits of the legendary R&B group. In 1989 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Temptations. He was the frontman on hits including “Cloud Nine,” “Ball of Confusion (That’s What the World Is Today),” and “Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone.” Edwards also had a very successful solo career fronting Dennis Edwards and the Temptations Revue.
