LOCKN’ Festival recently announced the first headliners for the 2018 edition of their Arrington, Virginia based festival. Dead and Company are set to perform four sets over two nights in a rare festival appearance. Shortly after, the jam-centric festival began slowly releasing both bits and pieces of the lineup and the time slots.
Most recently, LOCKN’ has added Nashville’s favorite indie jam rockers Moon Taxi to their continually expanding and always awesome lineup.
Previously announced acts include Tedeschi Trucks Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Sheryl Crow, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Turkuaz, Blues Traveler, Toots and The Maytals, The Suffers, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Lukas Nelson and Promise of The Real, and Lettuce who will play dueling sets with Umphrey’s on Thursday, as well a late night set on Saturday celebrating the music of Jerry Garcia Band.
As to the rest of the lineup, fans can expect one new act per day beginning to be revealed through February 8, when the full lineup will drop. Tickets for the festival will go on sale at noon EST on February 9.
