The California Honeydrops Announce New Album ‘Call It Home: Vol 1 & 2’

The California Honeydrops have announced their seventh album, Call It Home: Vol 1 & 2, which is due out on April 6 via Tubtone Records. It’s their first double album, and the lead track featuring Bonnie Raitt. It is preceded by the title track.
Raitt spoke highly of her experience with the band:
It’s rare to find a band as much in love with music and each other as The California Honeydrops. Their deep understanding and mastery of classic R&B, New Orleans Jazz and more has allowed them to create music that is as fresh as it is funky, and uniquely their own. Lech has one of the most soulful, elastic voices I’ve ever heard…and he shreds on trumpet and guitar as well. They are truly one of my favorite bands!
Want to catch the band out on the road? No problem. They have stops in L.A., San Francisco, Chicago, D.C., New York, Australia and many more. Tour kicks off in Byron Bay, Australia at Bluesfest over the first weekend of April. It concludes with a stop in Quincy, CA at High Sierra Music Festival on July 6 & 7.
